Actually I appreciate that your intentions were honorable. It just so happens that the word that you were misspelling is not one that is automatically censored, so when I removed your *edits* it allowed the word to be seen by all. Doug has set certain words that the software filter will automatically block out, like ####. The problem comes in when people intentionally misspell words, yet the intended word is now allowed to be discerned, which completely defeats the purpose of censoring the word in the first place. What Doug prefers is that people just write out all the words that they are intending to use, then let the software filter take out the *bad* ones. Not sure if Doug consulted with George when the filter list was made up or not.
