Hey Lou,
I don't know if you remember me or not, but I did some beta testing on the 727 project for you a couple of years ago. I am still living in the Roanoke, Virginia area and currently going thru training on the SAAB 340. I was at Colgan for 4 years up until the end of January, however, my wife passed away January 4th. So, I left and took a job flying an F-90 and Cessna Turbo 210 for a real estate auctioneering firm based in ROA. This job went south on me, but I left on good terms at Colgan. So here I am after being a check airman on the Beech 1900 to SAAB F/O. I am actually down in Houston doing the simulator stuff and we are about halfway thru the syllabus. I have my PC on Thursday next week. SAAB flies like a big Cadillac, but the systems are a pain the ass to learn.
Anyway, I hope things are going well on your end. I'd love to do some more testing for you if that opportunity presents itself. I just bought a new system and have FSX installed, although I don't get to play with it all that much. Have a big old Samsung flat screen 24" monitor though, so it is quite impressive on there. I usually don't do anything but horse around with it anyway...I do have the Boeing Stratoliner package, which I'd be shocked if you didn't...Maybe they will do a Super Connie, and you will never get the DC-8 done from playing with that.
Hope to hear from you soon, and if there is anything I can do to help you out from a "prop-jockey/commuter" pilot perspective I'd be glad to do it
Regards,
Scott Fitzpatrick
