Hey Chuck, well I just happened to come across your profile again and saw where you replied to my post last year....haha Sorry, I didn't think to check back I guess, or I thought I would get some kind of notification if you responded.

Anyways, I'm still with U.P. and have been for about 3yrs now. Unfortunately I'm still looking to do something else because like a lot of pilots are going through I keep getting furloughed/laid off.

I gave it a shot as being a ff with Dallas Fire and Rescue last spring to no avail. They were hiring for ff trainees w/ no experience required. I believe the applicant pool started with around 2000 people for around 100 spots. Most had certifications and emt exp so you can imagine who was hired.
Anyways I'm in the Ft Worth area as of right now and will be sure to look u up if I get back towards the shreveport area.

How's it go. I work in shreveport myself, for UPRailroad. Looking to be a firefighter though in the near future, from what I hear you can't beat a fire career.
