Don't know if any of you even remember me around here, I took a year or so flying hiatus to concentrate on my new job and family. In 2007 I moved from Japan - Arkansas to cross-train from fixing helo's to flying slick C-130's (guess I should change my screen name). I absolutely love the job (hated Arkansas), saw lots of the country and the world. I recently got orders to England to fly on the MC's out there, so I am out in NM right now for additional training. Unfortunately I have had no time or $$$ to finish my PPL at the moment, hopefully I'll save enough dough in England to finish it when I get back. I'll try and pop in every now and again to give some advice about my world.

Thanks falcon I caught a lot of crap from some of my buddies, but I gotta admit, I love the job.

| Old Skool | Yuck. The only flying you got to do was a FCF in a helo?? No wonder you switched over...

You hated Arkansas?????? How???? It doesn't seem like it was that long ago that you moved there but I guess it was. I got married, moved to New Orleans, had a kid and now we're living in New Jersey. I remember you though. Good to see you're doing well!

Perhaps hate is a strong word. I met some great people out here, but if I didn't act, I knew I was going to get stuck there. The wife wasn't really adjusting either. Making the move to MC's afforded me the opportunity to get on an awesome mission and as an added bonus, I'll be able to move back to her home country some day.

T-cart: and that pic isn't even recent. He is getting to be a little boy now and not a baby! Do you have facebook? Well, I'm glad you didn't hate Arkansas. I know it's kind of a slower state but there's not much to hate, people aren't rude, crime isn't exceptionally high, prices aren't exceptionally high, it's not dirty...I love Arkansas! But I'm glad you guys moved on and hopfully found something better suited for you! How's that lil girl of yours? Any recent pics for us? I always wondered what the heck happened to you. It's good to see you atound!

I think the last pictures of Kira I posted on here are when we went to Tokyo, IIRC she was still 1 at the time. She is almost 4 now, here is a recent pic:

HH, why do you have to marry a Asian lady? No wonder, I had a hard time to find a girlfriend over there. I guess I return a favor. ![]() good looking kid though

What can I say, I'm a sucker for the Asians. For the record I met her through a mutual friend and not at a juicy bar . It's worked out for the best though, she's a great gal and her parents love me.
