Congrats man!

I remember my first solo student. I was standing out there with no handheld radio, standing around the hangar thinking it would be great if I was a smoker watching him takeoff at Reid-Hillview.

Reid-Hillview has a parallel runway setup.

So he takes off on the right runway and makes left traffic.

I about panicked and ran back to the FBO to call the tower.

It turns out that tower requested he make left traffic. WHEW! That made my heart sink!
