UPDATE: We had our first Dr.'s appointment last Friday and they did a sonogram wherein we got to see the little critter!

It was magnafied, so we got to SEE the heart beating, the little arm and leg buds just a flappin'!!

At one point, I SWEAR R2F2 turned toward us and waved! I LITERALLY was standing there waving at the screen!!!

Couldn't get the smile off of my face for a few hours.... hell... I still smile from ear to ear just typing this.

I hav the sonogram pic, but no way to host it, or I'd post it for ya.

I hate to have to be the one to inform you of this but, the baby is inside your wife...not inside the TV.

unless of course you are on a river then it is fine. But congrats on the baby. You going to find out if it is a boy or girl or wait? I hope everything goes well and you have a very healthy baby.

Yes, we plan on finding out the gender in about 11 weeks or so. You have to wait to approximately the 20 week mark, or so I am told.

when I initially looked at the photo, It looked like the head was on upside down.. hahahahahha I was like WTF?!

R2F2 is officially 9 weeks and 3 days..... but, who's counting.

On Babycenter.com, it's cool because you enter in your due date and each week you get a little e-mail that says "your baby this week" and says what organs are forming, how big the baby should be, that kind of thing.

Kid's growing so fast, I could have SWORN I heard R2F2 ask for the keys to the Rodeo the other day.

it's the little thing inside the black area... the black area is the amniotic fluid...been learning a lot with my sister being pregnant and all...

Hey R2F.. are you and the little woman going to do one of those 4D ultrasounds?? I hear they're worth the $$ and not that expensive anymore...you'd see exactly what he/she looks like before their born...

Heck yeah! If our Doc has it, we're going to do it. Our Dr. is moving to a new location next week and I BELIEVE will have new equipment to boot, so here's hoping. If we get the 4D view, you can guarantee I'll get it on here for everyone!

And ski: Kristie's right. R2F2 is the little angled white oval shape in the middle of the bean-shaped thing.
