How's It Going? I have sort of been around the forums for the past couple of weeks but I decided it is time to do an official intro. My name is Max, I live in Centennial Colorado and fly out of Centennial Airport (ICAO: KAPA, IATA: APA) I just became a senior in high school and have earned my PPL and Instrument Rating. I hope to one day fly airplanes professionally. My family eats, sleeps and dreams aviation. My father, is a former Cathay Pacific Pilot and now works as a corporate pilot and assistant chief pilot for a local FBO. I have two older brothers, one of whom is an Air Traffic Controller in the marines, my other brother is looking for regional jobs while working as an instructor for the FBO my dad helps run. Even my mother, worked as a flight attendant when she was younger, now she teaches Chinese at my high school. Oh yeah, thats another thing pretty interesting, a right of passage for all the kids in the "Foxx Family" is you need to be proficient in Chinese by the time you graduate high school. I'm sure you can imagine how much fun it could be to go to a public high school and have your mom teach one of your classes. But I will survive. I hope to attend ASU next year and get a degree in business or economics, hopefully by then I will have my CFI and can earn some money. One day I hope to be an airline pilot for Frontier Airlines, or maybe Cathay Pacific...either way I hope to one day make good money doing what I love. Here is the only picture on my computer of the family. Taken in 96-ish. Im the kid in the center looking sad. My older-older brother isn't pictured. |

Even think of a Liberal Arts degree instead of a Management, Business, or Economics degree that your future Airline management will utilize against you to trick you into accepting lower pay, reduced QOL and work rules. . . Just something to think about. Welcome to JC |
