| JC's newest CMEL and CSEL Pilot WOOHOO... What a load off my mind! But I finally achieved it and passed my Commercial multi and single engine checkride today! The single engine approach (VOR-A) was probably one of my best approaches to date (single or multi). The twin comanche is a fun airplane to fly. I had heard stories about the twinkie being hard to land but from the very first landing it was a piece of cake! Even flap up single landings work out really nice!
I have to say a BIG THANK YOU to Oscar at OS Aviation. The guy really went above and beyond to help me out. Very cool handed guy, Lets you get in there and really fly his plane. I talked to people who had never done true engine outs while multi training we even did a sim engine out 200 feet of the deck on takeoff. With Oscar every engine out was a true engine out! Many times to feather. I hate to leave here, Good people all around, NC impressed me! The DPE...well, this guy is a piece of work! He acts like he is this cut up goof ball kinda guy, but you can tell he see's EVERTHING that goes on, but he is a very fair guy! Retired airline capt, current corp pilot (C-650) Helo corp pilot (eurocopter) Helo dpe...Guy has some great experience!
All in all, It was well worth the trip to come out here from Texas...I might have to come back for the MEI, and to get some more time in the twinkie!
Thanks to those here at JC who also recommended them too me!
Oh, and yeah I crossed the 300 tt mark too!!! Guess that makes me around 311 and 20. hmmm wonder if eagle would be interested...haha

If you want a lot of marketing there are plenty of over priced schools out there!
