Default Howdy!

Hello,
I've been looking on this forum for quite some time, but never got around to introducing myself. My name is Joe, I am from NY, but going to school at ERAU. I am about to finish my Commercial single engine land. Just wanted to introduce myself.

Joe, is your avatar doctored in any way. And, if not, what distance was the photo captured from? Thx and welcome.

Nope I have not changed that picture, it was from the latest space shuttle launch. The clouds were pretty low, the shuttle was gone within seconds of takeoff. We were about 15 miles away from the launch pad, it was a pretty cool sight, and my first launch experience.
