I got my 1st class medical today from Doc Forred!!!!
The entire experience was extremely wonderful, great facilities. I'll definitely only use Walt as my flight surgeon anytime I need my medical done.
No matter if I'm living in Atlanta, Dallas, or China!
Question, anyone know what I might be able to do with a 1st class medical?
I haven't flown in almost 5 yrs.
Dunno, maybe something big is in the works, say in the next 3-5 months, or less! Something a long, long ways over due, who's time has finally come.
Maybe stars aligning, what with interest rates at an all time low, and banks ####### themselves out to get business.
And, oh, yea..the fed just dropped the rate again today, which will specifically help variable rate loans, and credit cards, making lending less of a risk to banks due to the lower interest rates.
Stars are definitely alligning, hopefully in my favor!
Bout freekin time man! I mean it's just been talk, talk, and more talk. Janauary, no July, well maybe next year. Glad you finally got the fire lit under your butt to get back in an airplane other than as a paying pax. I also have to do my BFR and an IPC (not looking forward to holds or NDB's).

It automatically "reverts" to a second then a third...so it's good for 3 years. Just not as a 1st class. Some guys (me being one of them) got the 1st just 'cause.

Really hoping things work out this time, and I get no egg on my face, again...
Things are really lining up it seems.
I figure that I'll instruct for one to two years, and then hopefully be at the front of a new hiring wave. Who knows? But, I'm very excited at the prospect of the future.
We'll see, what we see, but keep me in your prayers, seriously...

Apologies for the nit picking but it'll still be a first class medical, it doesn't revert. Just after 6 months you no longer can use it to excercise your airline transport pilot certificate priviledges, and then after another 6 you can no longer use it to excercise your CPL priviledges. I remember the DE asked me that one of my checkrides (PPL? I dunno.)
