| Well, after what seemed like forever, I finally got my CFI. I've been working on it over the course of a year, but life got in the way a few times and I finally finished yesterday. It feels great! ![]() |

| Thanks everybody! The check ride went really well. The examiner asked me if I had a plan of action for the check ride, and I told him I did, and he said, "Great! We'll use it." Thank goodness I had gone through the PTS and written down all the required maneuvers and then listed them out in an order that made sense to try and maximize our time in the air. I had done this a couple of weeks before the check ride and practiced going through a mock check ride with a friend of mine. Writing the plan of action and then practicing it paid off big time, because as mentioned before, that's exactly what the examiner had me fly. It was great knowing (unwhittingly) the maneuvers that I would be flying on the check ride! |
