Back after a two year break!

Hey folks,
I used to be on here a bunch 2 years. I am back again! I've decided to pursue the jump into the regionals. I remembered this board from the past and found my old login to work. Great info! I currently instruct in the PHX metro area.

I'm considering the jump to Mesa. I know its been rated as probably the worst regional, however I want to eventually be based in PHX. It really is a tough call. I love my current job, make 50K a year and I am home every night.

My wife and I love PHX and we really want to stay here. She's a stay at home mom with our 5 month old. If we wouldn't have just bought a home or have a baby, I think we both would have been cool with me moving around the country. I'd love Republic or Skywest.

Anyhow, I just wanted to reintroduce myself and say hi to all.

Welcome back!

I would seriously reconsider going to Mesa. I have a feeling they won't be around much longer. Not only do they have one of the worst contract's in the industry...the whole GO! lawsuit, mainline carriers unhappy with their product, plus I think they are losing a few airplanes as well...they are simply bleeding out right now man. Maybe a liquidation in their future? What's everyone else's thoughts?
