At which flight school did you get your PPL? The owner of Tidewater Flight Center at CPK occasionally does trips for our company in our Cirrus when I'm out of town; that is if PuddleJumper here can't fill in for us . Did your CFI ever torture you with a landing at Hummel Field (W75)? If you can land there, you can land anywhere.Welcome aboard. |

I got my ppl at Horizon Aviation at KCPK. Great school, and I had an awesome CFI. Im trying to see if i can get a loan to get more ratings. I want to get instrument, Multi engine, commercial, and CFI/CFII. If i get them fast enough, i most likely could instruct at Horizon, they are expanding and need alot more CFI's And by the way Doug, This site is awesome. Very informative and motivating material here. Thanx |

Heres some pix from my flight today. I had my brother with me and he took some pix of our touch and go's at KORF. Class C is fun. rollercoasters 001.jpg rollercoasters 003.jpg rollercoasters 004.jpg rollercoasters 011.jpg |

Cool pix. What time did you come through? We departed at about 4:30 pm in the Lear, southbound. Send me a PM next time you're planning on heading to ORF. If I'm around, I'll pay your ramp fee and give you a tour of the airplane if you'd like.

| What a coincidence! I departed Chesapeake at about 4:05, and went straight to KORF. I was 3504Lima, and i was on tower freq for a while, i did about 6 touch and go's. then i was with departure for a few mins after that. What was your callsign?
