When did you interview? Did you do a phone HR interview? | Yeah there was a brief phone interview mainly about what type of licenses that I have and accidents, thereof. Wasn't much.
I will see if Robert is there, pretty sure that we will all get to know each other quite well. |

| Re: ASA Job!!! I see you interviewed the 24th and 25th, but when did they make the first phone call to do the HR phone interview? Also, when did you receive the application packet to fill out and mail back in?
I just recently sent mine back to them overnight last night, trying to get an idea of how long it has been taking for them to potentially call me back.

I just recently sent mine back to them overnight last night, trying to get an idea of how long it has been taking for them to potentially call me back. | Well I had a friend walk in my resume. Then it took about 4 days to get a call back. After the approval I got my packet in about 2 days since I'm in Tennessee. It took a couple of days for me to send it back in. The hardest thing was figuring out the dates of my previous jobs. |

| Re: ASA Job!!! He didn't say anything to me about a package. I figured since first 2 weeks are basic indoc, they'd wait until then to give us any materials to study.
I also don't know anything of hotels...or anything else really.
I'm sort of starved for information, if you hear anything let me know.
I sent you my email address in a PM. |

| Re: ASA Job!!! Best of luck in groundschool. If you want to actually fly more than once every 3 weeks and hold a line, bid the jet.
If you want to fly a fun as heck plane with great crews but only once in a while, and while on reserve for the rest of your time on the plane, bid the ATR.
::sigh:: |

| Re: ASA Job!!! Yeah that is what I heard! I can't really decide if I want to be on reserve and long or short time (other things to do). But it's helpful hearing "the word" from guys that have been there. |

M. | I'm about a month ahead of you guys, welcome aboard! You should get a package of paperwork to fill out before you come - they'll fedex it to you. If you haven't gotten it by tomorrow, call them! It will have hotel info and a list of required documents. We're booked at Hyatt Place on the south side - you can expect similar quality.
Don't worry about indoc. Study while you're there but the instructor's policy is 'No child left behind'! If you have specific questions, let me know, I'll help if I can! |

I sent you my email address in a PM. | Congrats guys and welcome. I've been here a year and really enjoy it. John, where were you instructing in NE GA? I started flying at TOC, so I was just curious which airport. If I remember correctly you should get the package of paperwork before the interview. I'd be surprised if you were staying at a La Quinta. Most new hires stay at the Weston or Hyatt Place. I would also bid for the 200. The 700 is much nicer, but the 200 has a much better QOL. Good luck guys.

We are, in fact, at La Quinta.
Looking forward to getting started. |

| Re: ASA Job!!! Congratulations. Hope you don't get stuck with the ATR. Great plane and crews, but you won't see the cockpit more than once every 3 weeks on reserve, and reserve is a while right now.
Best of luck. |
