Not very many people bid for the 700, we were assigned it.

I bid for the -200, and got it.

Of the 15 of us, 2 got the ATR (the most senior bid it, and the most junior was given it), the rest was a mixture of 700 and 200. Three 700 guys start class on the 17th, the rest of us start rj school on the 24th.

That's funny! Because I bid for the 200 and got it. Then the next day got pushed in the 700 with the rest of the class. I don't have any problems with it though, because if they want to pay me to sit around on my arse, then good. Sooner or later I know that they probably will get more 700's or 900's. When or if they get the 900's, I think the 700 guys will get a chance to bid on them first before the 200 guys.

Man you already know in this industry seniority rules everything. Whoever is more senior gets to bid first

The way I understand it is that the 200 guys will have to go through differences before they can bid the 7/900, where as the 700 guys can fly both with no additional training.
