Yeah you should hit me up next time!

Folks looks like the whole flying once every three weeks spell on the ATR has come to an end. 4 more lines added in March and my classmate who's 1 number ahead of me is crediting 90ish hrs this month. And he just got done with IOE last week. So if you get the ATR, you'll fly alot nowadays.

Dang it man! You'd think with the Hyatt name, Hyatt place could trust us to heat our own food! We have to go down to the lobby and ask for them to heat it for us!. How do you like your microwave meal, cold or radio-active?

ATL guys. . .there is a M&G of another web forum used by pro pilot's on this world that is happening at our location of the most recent ATL JC m&g.

It's occurring on the 15th.

There were I think 20 assigned and 19 showed up for the class that started this past monday. There are always characters in class, I might be one of them.

Well, I heard one of them broke out into song during the whole "go around and introduce yourself" bit. I know it wasn't Zach, or Robert, and am pretty certain WHO it was, just not WHAT it was he sang.

Had one in mine in the 210-220 hour range. Nice guy, passed his checkride, no extra sims I don't think - so he must have done alright. Amazing to consider though- I flew more time in the space of two months over the summer than his entire career up to this point. Crazy days.

Dude, the reason you guys are crediting hours this month is because they give you a green line right out of IOE to get you started. This will not be the case on reserve next month when you actually bid and get a reserve line. The "rare flying" reserve is not over. And you're pretty fresh out of training so unless they get to like 40 lines all of a sudden, expect to sit around for the next couple of months. 90 hours is pretty hard to believe though. He might be exaggerating.

Can you find out if they had an advanced jet transition. Those times seem really low! Congrats to them, but wow! Is this normal for ASA?

The gentleman I referenced did do a transition course I believe. I'd guesstimate the average time in my class around oh... maybe 700 hours or so. The range was low 200's to 2k and change.

The transition course guys seem to be doing pretty well. Meanwhile, with the second highest time in the class, I'm working my everlovin tail off to keep up. I hope my experience serves me well on the line, cause I don't feel like it's doing as much for me in training as I had hoped.

I don't regret freight doggin it for a minute though.

Well, we'll see. I give an update on my flight time next month. Oh I just found out the 900s will be on property THIS year. Don't ask me how I know I just know

I agree with the above. I finished IOE the last week in January. Once you get off IOE they call you a few days later and give you a schedule to knock out your 100 hours. The next month you will get a reserve line.

Yeah I hope that they get more 700's so that my yearly reserve time won't be so bad. Maybe if there are 900's taken the ATR guys want to go there.

Amen to that...haven't heard anything other than rumors that we're getting new planes...even if it was an announcement, as has been said many times before, I'll believe it when I see it.

I am staying on the ATR until they kick me off... When that happens, I will go where I can do the least amount of work possible.

They just put me and everyone in my ATR class on the 700 final award effective 8/1/08...if this is true that means back in training April or May....
