This is my relief week and I should have came to ATL to assist you in doing some damage. Oh well, maybe next time. |

Folks looks like the whole flying once every three weeks spell on the ATR has come to an end. 4 more lines added in March and my classmate who's 1 number ahead of me is crediting 90ish hrs this month. And he just got done with IOE last week. So if you get the ATR, you'll fly alot nowadays.

Don't make me mention everything! | Dang it man! You'd think with the Hyatt name, Hyatt place could trust us to heat our own food! We have to go down to the lobby and ask for them to heat it for us!. How do you like your microwave meal, cold or radio-active?
Oh, well, back to CBTs! |

As much as I wouldn't mind sitting reserve for years on end, I'd much rather hold a line after a few months, along with being able to goto certain cities that the 700 does not go into presently.
How many were in your class (more importantly, how many were scheduled, and how many actually showed up), and when did you start again? A couple of my previous co-workers may be in your class, and I have a question about a certain one of them who reportedly sang during his introduction to the class on the 11th.

There were I think 20 assigned and 19 showed up for the class that started this past monday. There are always characters in class, I might be one of them. |

I know it wasn't Zach, or Robert, and am pretty certain WHO it was, just not WHAT it was he sang.

| Re: ASA Job!!! Had one in mine in the 210-220 hour range. Nice guy, passed his checkride, no extra sims I don't think - so he must have done alright. Amazing to consider though- I flew more time in the space of two months over the summer than his entire career up to this point. Crazy days.

This will not be the case on reserve next month when you actually bid and get a reserve line. The "rare flying" reserve is not over. And you're pretty fresh out of training so unless they get to like 40 lines all of a sudden, expect to sit around for the next couple of months. 90 hours is pretty hard to believe though. He might be exaggerating. |

| Re: ASA Job!!! The gentleman I referenced did do a transition course I believe. I'd guesstimate the average time in my class around oh... maybe 700 hours or so. The range was low 200's to 2k and change.
The transition course guys seem to be doing pretty well. Meanwhile, with the second highest time in the class, I'm working my everlovin tail off to keep up. I hope my experience serves me well on the line, cause I don't feel like it's doing as much for me in training as I had hoped. I don't regret freight doggin it for a minute though.

The next month you will get a reserve line. |
