Guess who's flying on the Q the first day?

Yours truly! Boy, am I going to be busy.

Deadhead to ALB Sunday with 6 legs Monday between ALB/EWR/BWI/PIT. 4 legs Tuesday beween BWI/EWR/ROC/ALB and the same 6 legs Wednesday as Monday. Thank God there will be a check FA with me and the other FA (who I met last week and is a new member of JC who hasn't posted yet)
I guess I should feel "honored" to have been chosen to do these inaugural runs!?

Did any of you Colgan Q pilots get your schedules yet?

Screw law enforcement... I wana fly the Q now. Congrats girl. You kicked some backside these last few weeks/months. You should be proud. Oh, and I would like a formal introduction with the new FA/member.

Hopefully that first day of revenue will come soon. I overheard on AIRINC today as I was passing Philly the colgan q with d.b. at the helm talking with manassas world headquarters about declaring an emergency and heading to RIC. Anyone have any more info on what happened?

No schedule yet..I am guessing we will find out more this week. I am headed to Manassas tomorrow morning until Saturday morning and Sat will be 2 days before the first revenue flight so who knows...maybe we will be bestowed with some info. Anyone hanging around EWR tomorrow at 11:30?

I'll be in HEF Friday or Saturday for one more day of training. I was in EWR yesterday meeting my new boss and some others. I even got my employee parking pass!!

On flightaware it shows they in fact went to RIC, but the plane has since been flown back to HEF. Also, the second Q is headed down to IAH tonight.

I would find it hard to choose between checking out the new Q, or the hot FA. I would try to find time to check both out. Congrats on what promises to be a memorable day.

Which FA, Captain?

You have to remember the Q has 2 flight attendants. No more Queen Bee like on the Saab. Actually, I welcome the company! Uh-oh--I just found out I'm getting paired with a FA a little more senior to me for the first half of the pairing, so SHE'LL get to choose "A" or "B" slot.

Congrats on getting the first flight sequence, WC! I'm really hoping I get to be the first FO in the group to fly the Q (and I will if seniority gives me anything to say about it), but we still haven't gotten our schedules yet.

Thanks, OCG! I hope you do, too! I told USMC-SGT that we're being summoned back to HEF for one day either Friday or Saturday. I haven't found out for sure which day it is, but I will let you know in case we can find a few minutes to meet while we're all down there. Good luck and I'll see you soon!

Well, I'm off the inaugural pairing. Can't say I'm that upset. The first day is going to be a bitch. I am, however, sitting reserve at EWR "just in case!"
