Hey folks, I will be beginning my multi rating in about a week or so and will hopefully be done by early February at the latest. Would anyone be interested in splitting some blocks? I am in ATL, but would be willing to meet in another state with someone if we can get a twin for the right price. I would also appreciate if someone can tell me where I could find some place cheap to build some twin time preferrably in Georgia. I plan to start hitting the regionals with resumes around late 2008 and plan to fly my tail off the whole year to building twin time and sharpening my instrument skills. Anyone with similar goals, let's chat. Thanks and safe flying and a happy new year to everyone. |

As some one who as gone to or rented from just about every school on the north side of Atlanta (RYY, PDK, LZU) they are one of the few schools I would say not to give them a doller of you money.

Why do you say that and where would you recommend? There aren't a lot of schools in this town with a twin these days

This is for you add on right? Is it PMEL or CMEL? Are you outside or inside 285? The flight school of Gwinnett @ LZU has two Seminoles for $200hr Quality Aviation @ PDK has a nice Duchess for only $210hr If you have the coin for it look at Falcon Aviation @ PDK the twin star is one cool twin. |

I'm in Dunwoody outside of 285. The thing that I was attracted to was the fact that they have an Aztec 250 HP engines and I could get a High Performance sign off while getting my twin. This is an add on to my CPL. I looked at Falcoln and liked their program, but you hit the nail on the head with them ~ $$$$ |

But at $260hr the Hp signoff is not worth it. On the low end it is going to cost you $600 more and on the high end $1200 more to get the HP signoff. |

So the prices you quoted above are "wet" with an instructor?

lol - Sorry man. I don't make the rates. I was more or less saying the prices for the original poster since you didn't say them. |
