Instrument rated at last! Had oral and checkride today. Tracked radials, slow flight, power-off stall, unusual attitudes, ILS, partial panel localizer, and GPS. Felt great to get that accomplished! Now it is time to get out there and use it and really start learning. Any takers for splitting some time in the Atlanta area?? Hope to have commercial by sometime in March/April. I only have about 97 hours total time right now, so I have quite a bit of time-building to do. It feels awesome to have started my training in January and knocked out my PPL and IR this year! Thanks to everyone for all the help. |

| Junior Member | IR is definitely a fun one. When I first started IR, I felt airsick a lot, but that went away thankfully. After flying IFR, I really have no desire to fly VFR. Love the IFR system, but it is definitely something you have to use, or you lose it. That's why I want to build all of my hours for the Commercial on the IFR system. |
