Well, change a plan, looks like I will be moving to Seattle (Boeing) & not Alteon. Have not set up a start date, but, it will probably be some time in February..... Sucks to move from California, but, it is kind of exciting to start a new job in a new place. ![]() ![]() Time for a Happy Dance ![]() As soon as I figure things out in Seattle, we can a arrange a meet & greet.

So, you're becoming Washington's problem, not Florida's?!

Cool. I could dig Seattle...except for all of the rain in the winter time. Summers are great there though.

What are you going to be doing at Boeing? I got 4 uncles that work for them, one of them is in Australia and the other 3 are in the area.

Congrats Pengy! I think I would pick Seattle over Miami, but then I'm a West Coast girl. It's so beautiful up there, and you'll be close to Vancouver, Vancouver Island, Whistler, Banff, Lake Louise, etc. - a big playground! I always enjoy Seattle, plus I have great long-time friends up there. Break out your coffee, rain, and lush, green, tree icon thingies! |

Congrats Mike!!! you deserve good things and I think you'll enjoy seattle a lot more than Miami... so pretty up there and i heard the people are nice!! so what was it that prompted the change? Did you just do the boeing interview or was that a while ago and it just took some time to decide? What will you be doing for them? |

That's great news; penguins don't belong in FL anyway. I've had a few friends move to the SEA area recently (one from CT and the other from TX) and they both love it; I hope you and the Mrs. are just as happy there.

Seattle is a great city. Great enough that I think I could get past the crappy weather! Congrats on the new job!

Are you still working the sims there? The sim bay we went through on that tour had to be the most upbeat/happy sim world I have seen. Congrats on being able to stay on the left coast. |
