A friend of mine and also my career mentor got into corporate flying exactly the same way. Got lucky and wound up with a very wealthy student who eventually bought an aircraft for his company and hired my friend to fly it. He started teaching in an A-36 now he's flying a TBM-700 and will be in a Jet by 2009 when the owner upgrades..But it took him a while though...He's got nearly 10,000 tt and I already have more multi turbine then he does so taking that route can be a bit slow.
