Well for about eight years now, I always carried that pesky "not valid for night flight, or by color signal control" restriction on my medical. I was able to take the Farnsworth Lantern Test yesterday, and I passed with ZERO errors total!!! That restricition was the only thing holding me back from pursing my career, but now that I passed...let the journey begin! ![]()

| Senior Member | Hey thanks a lot! I'm not headed anywhere actually. With passing the Farnsworth, I feel a lot better continuing my career pilot program flying helicopters now that I know I can fly at night solo, and actually land a job when the time comes. Having the restriction on my medical really limited all possibilites for any job (fixed and rotor). So, the journey is going to be awesome. I'm sure I'll hit some bumps along the way, but better to hit those bumps doing what I love, then what I don't love.
