There are a few military guys on the boards who can clarify this better than me, but last I checked the Air Force was at least a ten year commitment after you earn your wings. Might have changed, but I suspect it is still in that ballpark.

If I was doing it over, and decided to ignore the majority of experienced pilots advice at this forum and major in aviation, I'd go to Metro State in Denver. They allow you to fly at one of several FBO's in the area, which keeps the costs down.

Yeah, please don't accrue as much debt as a medical or law student while pursuing this career.

I see lot of people say don't major in aviation, so I am thinking taking business classes also. You think I'll be able to kill two things at once? Anyways so far I am thinking to apply

Georgia State ( I want more Information about them, if anyone can help me)

UND
MTSU
UVSC
Indiana State
EKU Eastern Kentucky University
Daniel Webster

I doubt I can get into OSU or Auburn, therefore I not gonna waste my time applying there. As for embry-riddle its expensive and I don't have that kind of money.
