Default Recently retired FAA ATC

Hello, I guess you have another ATC type to try and answer questions. "I have your request, maintain..." A little humor.

Ok, so I'm not that funny. On the other hand, I have 24 plus years experience as a terminal ATC. From VFR towers at MIC and STP to small TRACONs at FAR and MLI to Minneapolis TRACON. I retired in June because I could, and the people in Washington made it not so fun anymore. I am enjoying my newfound freedom, but I do miss moving airplanes and the great people I worked with. I am even thinking of going back to work at a FCT if they will have me.

Anyway, I'm here now and would be happy to try and seriously answer any questions and hopefully make some new friends.

Welcome to JC.

And - more importantly. . .

Thanks for working for the agency those past 24 years.
