After a thorough and tough interview process I was offered and accepted a first officer position at ASA. Thanks to everyone on this site for helping me out through the process and my aviation career. Being at NetworkJC and this interview all in one week has definitely made this one of the most memorable times of my life. Class date Nov. 19th. Will fly CRJ or ATR depending on what they need and seniority (by age). Times are 582TT 82ME. Always remember to take care of those who are taking care of you. I'll be in Dallas all week folks!

Awesome 777....just seems like yesterday you were finishing up college and I was readin' your post on CFI school at ATP. Keep up the great work and push forward, but remember -- as Doug would say himself--PAY IT FORWARD! Best of luck to you and glad you made it out to Vegas, though I met you a few weeks ago. Good seein' ya again. Pac Man |

Congrats man. How was rotating the sim at 140 knots? Story time: Marcus, Cruise, (who was the third??) and I had dinner at Margaritaville, early this week. There were 9 of us and we ended up sitting at the kiddy table. Just the way it happened. Anyhow, Marcus was talking about his interview and how the sim ride was in a CRJ sim. So I was giving him some pointers about using the speed trend indicator, pitches and the IVIS. Some how we got to talking about V1 and VR and I mentioned that it would probably be around 140 knots or so. His mouth just dropped. I guess when you go from rotating a cessna at 40 or a Seminole at 70, 140 is pretty darn fast. Sounds like he managed ok though. |
