Default Private written passed!

Yes! I passed the private written today with an 83%. It wasn't the score I was looking for, my Sporty's pre-tests were in the 90's but it will suffice. I'm just glad it's out of the way. My checkride is Saturday! I'm feeling it... almost there.

Well done!

Make sure you bone up on the knowledge areas you missed. And remember the DE is only there to make sure you are safe!

Do they tend to hit you pretty hard on the areas you didn't do so hot on? I'll definitely be studying up on that material, but I was just curious if it's an all out grilling on that stuff.

Unlikely he will even look at your results. He only needs to make sure that you passed. The answer to your question is....pick up the ASA PPL Oral guide and study it from cover to cover. Don't sleep on it. The more work you put into the PPL Oral guide, the lighter work load you will have come IR and CPL time. The information overlaps, overlaps, and overlaps.

Good luck.

It is good to look up what you got wrong, though. I'd wanna know if it was something that I need to understand better or get more proficient in or just one of those stupid questions with answers like a) 50 min b) 43 min c) 42 min
