We took up a Seneca this morning by default because there was nothing else available. Damn what an airplane. I did the take off and that thing was supersonic compared to the PA-28 I normally fly. I had the thing at 5500 before I knew it and climbing. I blew past 6000. It took some getting used to before I was in front of it. I wish I could finish the rest of my PPL in that thing. I now have almost an hour multi. ![]()

Well...congrats. I love the Seneca. Big difference in power even between a Seminole and a Seneca. The Seminole is easier to do maneuvers in, but the extra horse power and fuel injection in the Seneca makes a difference.

Nicely done in logging that "close to an hour" time. I have flown over a hundred and thirty hours in a Seminole, I really want to try a Seneca!! Lucky you!

Started my training in the Seneca, finished in the Seminole and instructed in the Seminole. The Seneca is nice b/c it's got more power and room on the inside. I like the Seminole as a trainer, but I'd DEFINATELY take the Seneca on X/Cs if there was a choice b/w the two.

![]() The New Orleans TwinStar school is closer than Atlanta, but still too far way from me to knock it out quickly. Shucks! | |
