My 12 year old hit 4 homers yesterday and 3 went over the fence! I wouldn't be bragging, but some looney tore up the little league field so his team had to play on the varsity field next door. He hit 3 over the fence of a varsity field!! Thatza ma boy!!!!! My wife said everybody was awestruck and screamed as he rounded the bases!!! I wish I could've been there. Unfortunately, I am still here in the armpit of the earth...Columbus, Mississippi.

![]() I miss Little League! I LOVED going to my boys Little League games! They're all grown up now, but my youngest son was quite the ball player, and it was so much fun sitting there in the stands, with the other parents, and cheering him on. We never had baseball this late in the year though. | |

We have baseball year round in SC. He is very good at baseball and it seems to be a talent. I hope he chooses to try out for high school ball when he can. It would help along the college route if he got a scholarship. I had a scholarship for baseball when I was in college, but I chose to major in Beerology and Female Anatomy 101

That's always a great experience--watching your son (or daughter) do well in a sport...!! I know, my son is almost 17 and has been playing since he's 5. We're playing, too. Up here it's called "Fall Ball." 5 weeks of doubleheaders....No playoffs, just basically a friendly league.... I was at the field yesterday morning at 0800.. Ugh....thank God I LOVE baseball!!!!

Congrats there Pops..and to your son too. Easier to forgive being locked in the garage for an hour in the dark when he does things like this...right?
