Excellent!

I'd really love to actually live up in the NE (anywhere with a solid winter season - but specifically the NE) so that I could enjoy the winter season.

Winters here in GA are just a pain in the rear. All bark, no bite.

Man I haven't had time to fish (for myself) for months.

The browns need to be stabbed and left for dead, way too many of them and they are not native.

Give the Cutthroats a chance!!!

I don't know about leaving them for dead, but I don't think there is a prettier fish than a colored up Cut!

The Browns need to go away one way or another, they are making it impossible for the native fish to survive and grow. The biggest Cutt I have caught out of these rivers is about 14 inches long, when they should be twice that.

The Division of Wildlife actually wants anglers to keep all the browns they catch to get rid of them.

Since unhealthy overpopulated Brown tastes gnarly a lot of guys just slay em' right there.

Unfortunately too many people have a conservatory streak in regard to a non-native parasitic species that is strangling the native species, so not near enough of them have been removed.

Completely understand where you are coming from!

What's the stance on Bull Trout?

I have never seen one, I would have to check the DWR proclaimation, but I don't know of anywhere out here that has them.

Sorry, missed this earlier.

I lived there from '96-'02; first year in the city (Cole Valley), the rest in Marin. Had to leave 'cuz the party was OVER and I couldn't find work! Landed a job in San Diego and spent two years there before I made the decision to start getting my ducks in a row to make a run at a flying career--including moving back to SLC for "three months" to finish up the last few credits for my undergrad degree (which had been put on hold when dot-com $$$ lured me away to the bay area). Three years and two deaths in my immediate family later and I'm still here, but finally making the flying career happen.
