Default Moving To Denver

So after leaving Harvard in May, I spent the summer working with racehorses. I worked for Michael Matz (Barbaro's trainer) during the Saratoga meet, and I just moved to Maryland to continue working for him. However as much fun as racing is the pay and QOL sucks - work starts at 4:30am, 7 days a week, you get no health insurance, vacation, or 401K and the pay stinks (CFI's are rich compared to us).

So my girlfriend and I decided we wanted to move and settle down, get real jobs, etc. We were discussing locations, and we decided Denver. I have lived there before and really excited about going back, but it is quite a big move for her, a Boston native, who does not like long car trips!

A really exciting move for us!

Nice to have you moving out west. What kinda job you gonna get in DEN? Any idea? We'll have to have a DEN meet and greet.

a town I love near there is Boulder-- great college town, real affordable (still is, I think) and sits right up near Estes Park.

Good luck and have a safe trip!

Welcome back to the west!

Do you have any idea what you're interested in doing in DEN?

Awesome, glad you're back out west. My sister is an executive in sales for Qwest.

She lives in Ft. Collins, and get to Denver often and says it is a nice town.

Enjoy!

I'm sure she'll enjoy Denver, it really is a pretty laid back place, and some nice things to do/see to boot(it sounds like you know that already.) Just tell her it's worth it to get away from the Boston drivers

I hear the M&G action, we were discussing it in a couple other threads, and with this much momentum... planning? I was thinking Wynkoop downtown for great food / pool / beverages?
