Default PC Passed

Well passed the PC this morning with Colgan, so its off to IOE on Monday.

I never thought this past 2 months would end. It all seemed to come together though and I had a good checkride today.

OUTFREAKINGSTANDING!!! (to steal a good-standing member's catch phrase)!

Van, I got your message...I'll be in Toronto and Ottowa (sp?) this weekend so I'll call you early next week when I don't have to pay int'l rates.

Just found out that my IOE Captain is the same guy that did my SIM instruction. He was awesome, so I think it will go pretty good.

I am hoping against hope that sometime before now and the end of IOE they will assign me Houston. I kind of doubt it will happen though. Looks like I will be in UVA country for a little while at least.

Congrats man,

Who's your IOE Capt? Mine started being a sim instructor as well and I'm curious to know if he's the same, Mike Wikboldt. If he is you'll do just fine, I had a great time with him and learned a lot. Biggest thing is know how to do your paperwork fast. My first day of IOE was nothing but quick 15 minutes turns, I felt overwhelmed by the end of the day. Houston should happen fast, I got assigned to HEF and lasted less than a month before IAH opened up.

Yeah, Mike was instructing in Houston while I was there. He wasn't my instructor though. I actually got my SIM instructor for IOE Captain so I should be fairly comfortable. I must admit though, I am still nervous about it. I am sure it will all come together though.
