| Old Skool | Well I guess that means I cant fly ![]() I went down to the PWM FSDO this morning, and got my temp AGI. On a side note I think there are more people at the FSDO that know my family, than don't. The person that signed my temp gave my dad his Saab type rating many moons ago.

| Old Skool | Congrats. Glad to hear you got out of the FSDO unscathed, although doesn't sounds like you'll ever have any of those kind of problems at PWM ![]() |

| Old Skool | We should make shirts that say "I survived the FSDO" much like the roller coaster ones in theme parks. Ethan, Whadda think for the gear monkey store? PWM was quite painless, quite unlike Surreal's experience with the ATL FSDO. We shall see how painless PWM really is if I take my CFI ride in a year or two.

| Old Skool | I just realized I think my temp cert is messed up. The name on the top goes Middle First Last. I'll have to call back tomorrow. I just hope this doesn't mean another 300 mile drive at 6am.

| Old Skool | I like it. I might just have to get one to wear in Vegas. Just kinda curious, how much do you make off that store?

| Old Skool | Nothing so far. I've had the thing up for 2 years now and have sold 3 shirts. One to my mom (charged cost). One to my sister (charged cost). And one to my sim partner (bought him a beer when he worse it the first time). I have it set for about $2-$3 profit per shirt. |

| Old Skool | You don't need to be a CFI to be an AGI. |

| Senior Member | Yeah, I figured.... but I couldn't figure why someone w/o a PPL would want to be an AGI ya really can't fly or what?

| Awesome job man, Now when you go back for your CFI you'll know pretty much what to expect in terms of what their oral exams are like. |

| Old Skool | I can fly, I was just using that phrase for the thread title. I got my AGI because the school needed someone to teach the ground school that starts on Monday, because we don't have a full time instructor. I'm 2 cross countries, night landings, and some instrument time from my PPL. Oral exam, huh? Didn't have one. I was in and out in 10 minutes. (There is no oral for the AGI)
