|  Hello from Massachusetts
Hi. My name is Shawn and I am a college student/lineman/aspiring professional pilot. I received my PPL over the summer and hope to start my instrument rating in the near future. I have lurked here for at least a year and I don't know what took me so long to join, but I am excited to finally become a member of the most helpful aviation community on the net! Cheers...and please don't hit me in the middle of the air!

Congradulations! Welcome to Jetcareers! You'll find a great site, and knowledgeable people here. We all get along very well, for the most part, and our debates are civil. With that said, a word of advice, use the search feature before you post a question.  Where in MA are you? I currently live on Nantucket, but I'll be in HYA for the next two months while I'm class with Cape Air.
