| I'm starting flight training on Monday! I'm cleared to go, finally after the TSA messed me around! I'm excited but nervous about the committment to being in so much debt. Please share any tips or advice for a green pea pilot guy! ![]() |

| I'm starting out by getting my PPL and instrument through the university flying club here in Austin as it is the most affordable way to go. I'll be learning on a Cessna 152 but once I get to the multi engine ratings i'll probably have to go to Houston or Dallas as the schools here have new aircraft and want crazy amounts of money! |

| Agent Smith | Study hard. If you run into a wall, either break it down or climb over it. Enjoy the ride!

| Start chipping away at the interest ASAP.... Seriously, though - many good luck vibes being sent your way from this location...

| Senior Member | I did my PPL in a 152... cool lil' airplane and a great trainer.... Just study hard. and stay AHEAD of the game at all times. Don't just fly cause its fun, but prep yourself with as much info as you can before each flight... it'll make flight training easier and cheaper...
