On that note, how many parts for BMW are made in countries other than Germany?

You think it's on level with a sentra? Sound system, comfort, features and all?

??? Whatcha talking about willis? What would be the Max definition of made in America or made in ....... for that matter. You'd be hard pressed to find a car that has 100% of its materials made in said country.

If there are American people working in the factory that assembles them, that is good enough to pass the test for me.

While we are talking markups and sticker prices, I heard something interesting this past weekend. My best friend has a buddy who purchased a Saturn Sky brand new from the dealer, then turned around and sold it for more than he paid for it! Reverse depreciation. Apparently Saturn was only making limited numbers of the Sky, and when you purchased one you were put on a four month waiting list. Some people hoping to get around the wait would purchased used Sky's for more than they were going for at the dealer.

I could not care less about what they think. That wasn't the point. Sorry you missed it.

and why do you think we got rid of the X5?! part of it was because it was always breaking down... do the 3 series or 5 series break down as often? nope (not from what i hear)...maybe cuz they're made AND assembled in Deutschland? eh, who knows....
