Here... You can see my chick mobile in the garage.

92 Grand Am. One of these days, I'm going to get spinnerz.

The X-5 was a nice bar but FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE DO NOT GET SELF-LEVELING SUSPENSION. I'd rather one of you twerps go to Gulfstream and talk dookie about JC over on airliners.net rather than get a BMW with self-leveling suspension and variable ride control.

That's part of a 'bloomed' agave plant that I haven't gotten off my lazy rump to pull the rest of the stump. 110F makes me a little umm, unmotivated to do semi-strenuous yard work!

What do you mean you want a test drive? Ma'am, it's a BMW. It's the ultimate driving machine.

I know what you mean. The way the bookshelf stockers walk around the B&N in Kierland with their noses in the air you would think the books were lined in gold.

Oh lord, it was:

"These cars sell themselves. We offer them under invoice to keep the name out there"

"Let the car speak for itself (ie: I'm going to tinker with my cellphone i nteh backseat as you drive)"

and, and my favorite:

"These cars sell for far more in Germany as they are the ultimate driving machine"

Me: "Uhh, not really! They're actually cheaper and have a larger variety of engine options"

Them: "Umm, no"

Me: "I've been all over Germany, seriously"

Them: "No. Well, we're selling 3's over invoice anyway, we don't bargain"

Me: "Riiiiiiight"

Bastards.

I looked at leasing a 3 last year when I got my Accord. The dealer group I worked for at the time told me to do the European delivery because that was the only way I was getting a discount on one.

Beautiful.

A BMW will be the next vehicle we buy, and it won't be a daily driver either. I'll run the civic for as long as it'll go, but once my wife's camry is paid off. . .or an upgrade it'll be time for a new(er) 4 door sedan.

Enjoy it!

It's a car that has fantastic performance and excellent styling, but that's it. The three is more or less a high-perf Nissan Sentra with a penchant for Hefeweizen and rahmschnitzel.

I think the N. Scottsdale folks are too used to dealing with the $30,000 millionaires and folks trying to use it to represent social status or something!

But what would be absolutely pimp once I send the Grand Am out to Davis-Monthan is one of these:

And it matches my kitchen appliances! Hoo hoo!

It's not just limited to German cars.

I got the same treatment when looking for an 07 Civic Si. A car that retails at $20k

But because it was brand new and supposedly rare. People were paying $6-8k over sticker for the "unique" opportunity to be one of the first on the streets owning one.

Every dealers said absolutely no deals on the Si.

I said bye!
