| I got the call from Mesaba today and I will start on October 8th. As far as the interview, it is exactly the way the gouges report it to be. It was actually a pretty easy interview if you have studied like you should. Two of the three guys that I interviewed with only had around 350 TT and about 10 multi. They didn't fair very well, although I do not know if they got offered jobs or not. My times are 1230 TT, 50 multi.

| They don't know yet, but I hope I get whatever airplane has the fastest upgrade times. There is no pay difference for FO's.

B, congrats! and hope for the Saab. From what I hear Saab FOs get a couple more days off a month and still bring home more $$. This is supposed to be very pronounced in detroit (where I ended up), less so in memphis which is described as laid back. Also, I don't know about you, but I don't think it would be very fun to upgrade to captain on the Saab having never flown a turboprop before (all upgrades are through the Saab).

Whaaa? A Saab? No freakin' way, I'm going to fly a JET! See you chumps later! B.....congrats on the job. The Saab is an excellent plane to fly...if you're offered that instead of the jet. It's all turbine 121 time. No worries over the airframe.

| Old Skool | We had the same thing happen here at YX back last fall when I interviewed. A couple left when they were assigned the Beech. I hope they're reading this, because they missed out on a 6 month upgrade!

| Sopdan waited 3 months from interview to his class date at the end of May. I waited 2 months from interview to my class date at the end of July. B is waiting 1 month from interterview to his class date in October. By my math (which is always perfect), Mesaba will run out new pilots January 1st! ![]() |
