Well I am finally back on the mainland and out of the Navy. I just got in to SAV this evening. That was one heck of a day flying from HNL to SAV with a dog.....wouldn't wish that on anyone. I met some really helpful guys on the way. Talked to them about my plans and got some good feedback from a couple of Delta's captains. Soooo I have about a month off and then it is down to Fla to start training. It is really weird knowing I will never have to wear another military uniform. Out of cami's and into a flight uniform I guess If anyone wants to PM regarding career change or military or if anyone is also headed to the Aviator by all means do so. I hope to keep all updated on how the training goes.Jackson

First off, thank you for your service and welcome back to the mainland and the civilian life. Hopefully, not much has changed since you signed up. Did they offer any kind of transition assistance? Some people find it hard to go back to being a civilian, but it's definitely doable!

Don't blame ya, I will do the same thing in about a year, I do want to get all my ratings before I get out though.
