The vacations over!!!

Finally...

Back to work tomorrow. Start Hamilton Sunstrand tomorrow, my background finally cleared.

I had good references and didn't burn any bridges at Honeywell, so they bumped my pay up a little because of my prior experience so I'm at like $19 something.

No unlimited overtime

. But they do have OT avail so my OT rate should be niiiiiiiceee!!!

I start this week and maybe next on days while I train. Then I'll be working a JEP shift at 6pm-4:30am 4 days a week. I hope not to be on that shift too long, I want weekends, then it's working 3 12's but paid for 40 and a 25% shift diff with four days off instead of three. Either way I have a good block of time off to study and fly!

So, I might be missing some local M&G's unless they're held Fri-Sun initially.

Goin' to the BMW dealership next week to check out an M6!

I should be starting a job next summer that is seven 12 hour days a week for two weeks a month, I cant wait.

because I'm making more than I have before, but not that much!

Oooooh, good memory. I combination of me being upside down in my current car and having to roll that negative equity into a new car.

And the sheer arrogance of the Honda dealers, not wanting to deal on a then 06 Civic and wanting 3-5k over sticker. Because people were paying it to be first on the streets driving an 06 Si made me get my $500 back!

They've since come back to earth. But I suspect the arrogance will return with the 08 Accord Coupe EX V6!

But I'm not in the market!

Congratulations. Watch out though, Hamilton Sundstrand has been doing alot of outsourcing in recent years. There were a couple guys in my A&P school in Rockford, IL that worked for them until they shut all the plants down(except for one) and shipped the jobs to Asia(although some went to AZ plants).

Thanks, but it sucks today (not the job). I got first day blues.

So far 6+ hours of paper work, MSDS, and OSHA safety videos. Kill me now!
