Well, I'm even more jealous now. I've had this avatar since I became a JC forum member.

Enjoy the Boeing 777 training.

Congrats Kevin. Hope you enjoy it.

Just talked to the chief pilot today about TLV. The capabilities of that aircraft are unbelievable.

Enjoy the ride and have fun in training.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone.

I probably won't go to training until Winter, so you'll have to wait just a little bit longer, Mr. Taylor...

Right now the B-777 does all of the ultra-long haul flying; Atlanta-Tokyo, Atlanta-Seoul, Atlanta-TelAviv, Atlanta-Dubai and JFK-Bombay. So, not only is it a pay raise but also more days off!

We're supposed to get anywhere from 8 to 20 more B-777 in the next few years depending on which comination of facts & rumors you wish to believe...

Congrats enjoy lanta'.

I figure that you'll still be sitting on the right hand side, or is that a negatory?

Yes, I'll still be a First Officer. I can hold Captain on the MD-88 and 737-800, and with this bid I'm now 24 numbers away from the bottom 767ER Captain seat in JFK...

Any time, baby!!

Is that an easier commute for him? The Europe trips are higher time in ATL vs. JFK so less days worked, just be sure he's senior enough to pick what he wants so he doesn't end up with the crappy Lima trip...

Congratulations!!

Thanks! I'm sure Doug will be right behind me soon (soon being a relative term in the airline world...LOL)

Sweet ride!!

btw - I was listening on JFK ground one night not too long ago and that JFK-Bombay flight was delayed because apparently the FAA computers couldn't handle all the waypoints. The pilot goes "so much for any two points on the globe when the computers can't handle it."

Triple7, very nice. Did you know that the fuselage of the 73 fits inside the engine housing on your new plane?? She is one super poweful sweet sexy baby. Enjoy.
