Default Finished the ATP written

Well, I finally finished my ATP written. It was a long day but I finished the crash course, took my test and got a 94.

I was going to do the Sheppard Air thing where you get the questions from them online, but I have too much stuff to study right now. So, I went to ATP and did the crash course. It was a long day, but it really wasn't that bad, I didn't study before-hand, but after using their questions to prep I fet really good before I took the test. Goodluck when you take it.

Buy one of those practice test on CD-ROM (i.e., Gleim) and just take a BUNCH of practice test... and you'll be good to go!

It worked for me, but I usually work better under a time constraint. If you have the time, the Sheppard Air thing would be the best because it costs less, although I don't think it cuts out as many questions.

It cuts the 1800 or so questions found in the gleim down to about 700.

Yeah, I went to ATP. It cuts it down to like 490 questions. Their lil' cheap program + your rote memory= 90+ % score.... but it would be the same if you bought a gleim CD-ROM, took yourself to a library or starbucks.... and studied hardcore for a few hours.... its about a $300 dollar difference

Lol that's true. However I tend to be a slacker sometimes.

dauntless software is the only way to go...and by far the cheapest.

i think i payed 40 bucks for the atp and fe crash course

google it ... i don't know the website address...its a quick download and is really easy to operate...no books with charts and graphs. everything is right on the program

You get what you pay for. I gave up on the Part 135 ATP from Dauntless after finding a bunch of questions they had wrong. I decided I couldn't rely on it so I bought the Gleim instead.

I have the Giem CD, but was wondering if the ATP way was better in some way (aside from cost).

The only thing ATP does is just cut the question bank down to 491 questions. Just makes it easier to remember the questions.
