 |  As of 4:45pm on Aug 10... I am now considered a Private Pilot!!!! It feels so great to finally get to this stage. Thanks for the inspiration everyone, next step IFR!!!!! I leave for college in 6 days too, so its a double wammy  Tommy |

| Re: As of 4:45pm on Aug 10... Interstate has a pretty good rep in the area. I've always thought there rates were pretty good and they have been nice enough the times I've been in there. If you get the written passed, I could get your started with some ground trainer time. Not sure if Interstate has one but ground trainers are great for learning some of the IFR procedures, plus, it's cheaper than renting a plane.

| Re: As of 4:45pm on Aug 10... You can use a ground trainer for half your IFR rating. I used them a lot in the past, well....10 years ago. But they are great for maybe 10 to 15 hours of learning procedures in a more efficient enviornment than the airplane.
