| Junior Member | Well, got my PPL today! I took the knowledge test a couple weeks ago and made a 98. Today was the oral and checkride. The oral lasted about 1.5 hours, then we flew for 1.4 hours. In addition to my examiner, an FAA guy was there observing the examiner. Luckily, he had a cold and only stayed for the oral portion. That was starting to stress me out! Now all I need to do is convince myself that I actually have a PPL, and convince myself to actually use it. ![]() My total time to complete the PPL was 48.7 hours. I started January 25th of this year. ![]() |

| Congratulations on a your hard work and welcome to the club. Don't forget the secret handshake your DPE showed you when you passed your checkride...it's kinda neat.
