PPL Passed!

Well, got my PPL today! I took the knowledge test a couple weeks ago and made a 98. Today was the oral and checkride. The oral lasted about 1.5 hours, then we flew for 1.4 hours.

In addition to my examiner, an FAA guy was there observing the examiner. Luckily, he had a cold and only stayed for the oral portion. That was starting to stress me out!

Now all I need to do is convince myself that I actually have a PPL, and convince myself to actually use it.

My total time to complete the PPL was 48.7 hours. I started January 25th of this year.

Having the FAA watching over and passing the oral part means a great deal, in my opinion.

congrats man...need to be convinced ay??...you are a Private Pilot

...and about being convinced to use it...just check out the traffic on the highway next time you fly

I think I had the EXACT same amount of time when I got mine. Well done, now go out and visit some of them airports

Congratulations on a your hard work and welcome to the club. Don't forget the secret handshake your DPE showed you when you passed your checkride...it's kinda neat.
