 |  I've been waiting to post this news.... I passed my private pilot check ride today!!!!! I am officially a licensed pilot! I honestly couldn't be happier right now. Just thought I would let you all know. The oral part of it was only about 45 minutes, and the actual flying was about 1.2 . I'm looking forward to starting my instrument training   |

Congrats man!! While you have flight training on your mind, go ahead and start instrument and then multi/comm and you will be set. Let us know what your plans are. Congrats again. CHEERS

Congratulations! I've heard (and believe) the PPL is the hardest because you will never makes as big a jump in another rating as no experience to a pilot.

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the congrats. I went up to Richardson to visit some family down here for the weekend, and wasn't around a computer to reply to anyone. my best congratulations to you. have fun, be safe.. don't forget your dead reckoning/pilotage skills; enjoy building plenty of cross country time with them before starting your instrument training..day and night..well worth it to be a well-rounded pilot.
