Default First flight! On the way to my PPL

Well just had my first day of flight instruction today - what an experience. I was spoiled and flew a Citabria GCBC Explorer...160 HP, 5 point seatbelt for the adventurous as well as a stick instead of a yoke...beats the pants off any regular trainers!

It seemed like we did it all in 1.5 hrs: basic maneuvers, steep turns (including a very cool 180 degree turn with 60 degrees of bank), stalls, etc etc including 3 landings & takeoffs (I even had a shot at a 2 point landing that didnt turn out too bad)! Flying in a tailwheel is definately a great experience - look forward to training in one for my PPL!
