Ahh. The lack of that noise is music to my ears!!!!

2 days and a Fed ride done. Still goin all right. The fed ride was fun. It wasn't my line check as well so it was pretty lower threat then it would normally be. On the other hand, we had 33 people on the flight including 4 FAMs, and about 10 newhire FAs doing a fam ride. It was a Colgan clown Saab!

An ole BM had his line check and fed ride today right before I had my fed ride. He's all signed off and released to the wolves.

We have Pete G up on BGM again. I think we're going to see the re-creation of the way the base was in Dec 2005, with us all as captains though.

Congrats! I'm in ABE right now DHD'ing to IAD for my ride later today. Both line check and fed ride......I can't wait! sorta.

Good luck man. No worries though Matt - the Fed is a pretty cool dude, not one of those looking to take you down sort of guys. He's still fresh out of getting his saab type himself and he's pretty impressed with the plane. All you really need to worry about is your line check. Who's giving?

All finished! Line check was w/ B.H. at the same time the fed ride was going on. YIKES! All went well....despite dodging thunderstorms, et al..

Well, kind of. I was planning on driving out to Dayton Saturday to hang out with an old AF bud of mine. If all goes well and I get signed off and line checked I'm supposed to be working back here Wednesday morning so I will def be back NLT Tuesday evening.

Are you in need of wheels and can you drive a stick? I can always drive back to CMH (dayton/fairborn is only just over an hour from here) on Sunday and fly out of here and leave my car for you wherever you're gonna be staying...lemme know

Well, it's done. Line check and IOE is finished and I've been released to the wild to terrorize first officers, torment flight attendants, and harass gate agents. Wait a minute I think I have that wrong.... Ah yes, it's to BE terrorized by newbie first officers, tormented by flight attendants and harassed by gate agents.
