| Old Skool | It's official, I am now pimpin' the double deuce! 07/07/07.....ATP Temp certificate in hand! What a relief to finally have this ride over and done. shweeew.....now it's off to IOE. Fortunately for me, it hasn't even been scheduled yet. Sooooo, I could wind up with a bunch of days off. I'm thinking Caribbean...or Europe....hmmm, at this point anywhere other than the simulator will be just fine. Hey people, sit down and zip it......this is the CAPTAIN speaking. j/k That is all. ![]() |

| Agent Smith | "Pimping the Duece" is a phrase made popular by Kingairer (hence, a "Kingairism") which is playfully poking fun at the students who have to wear epaulets during flight training and a little jab at the Gulfstream students who proudly "pimp the duece" in their profile pictures on the website: http://www.gulfstreamacademy.com/testimonials2.php Just good playful fun.

| Old Skool | Saw some Gulfstream guys in Orlando. I was in awe seeing who I hear about so much. Sucks to be them for having to wear epaulets in the sim. They should be able to call the shots during training- they paid for it!!!

| Old Skool | Update: IOE scheduled starting tomorrow.....so much for my plans to get out of town. Despite the training department being way behind w/ IOE's, looks like the new-hires are being bumped even farther back. New Capts. are taking priority. ![]() Nope.....don't have the seniority to hold KABE anymore. Heading out to KSYR sometime next week to look for a place to live. |

| Old Skool | IOE finished! Went real smooth. The tiller rocks, taxiing is a blast. Now just waiting on the Fed ride and I'll be cut loose to the line. Supposed to be happening on Wed. but the powers that be couldn't definitely confirm the date as the Fed was off today. ![]() |
