Yes it is a policy, but a policy for what????? If jerseys(I offered to take of my jersey, but then he also stated I couldn't get in because of my track pants) were such a problem sports bars would be closing across the country and nobody would insure the sports bars  It's a bar, not a coat and tie establishment!!!!

I'm not about to slip any doorman a bill for something like that. it wasn't *that* cool of a place and it was practically empty. we would have had the entire patio to ourselves. Too bad for them, they lost out on some good $$

ed i wish i was there when that happened. sorry that it went down like that. i know that some of the places i worked they had a dress code that would not allow jerseys. i think we had a good time at henessey's though. it was good meeting you and keep in touch.
