|  First Solo! Hey everyone, I've been looking forward to writting this post and of course my first solo which was today. Funny thing is that my solo was in the same aircraft that I had the emergency forced landing in. Everything went well and I had a slight xwind, but no dramas because I've already had some xwind experience. I thought he wasn't gonna let me go up, because we had shut the airplane down, but then he looked at me and said: "so you wanna do one by yourself"? I nodded and said yes with a big smile on my face. ATC congratulated me after touch down, commenting on the smooth landing, which was a nice touch. Anyways, JC has been a great source of help and inspiration, and I thankyou all and look forward to some great flying in the future. Talk soon Tristan |
