Default Another newbie

I thought it was about time I said Hi. I’ve bee lurking around here for about two months, and really appreciate all the input people give. As a younger person looking to steep into the aviation industry, has JC really given me some insight into how everything works in this crazy business . I’m currently going to school and flying in Montana, but transferring to UW in Seattle and continuing my training after this semester. If anyone in the Seattle area wants to split time in a 152, 172, or beach duchess just hit me up. The prices are 52, 68, and 159 respectively. So from 26 to 79 an hour each person.

I'm in Bozeman right now. Those prices are from a flight club I got into in Seattle thanks to some help from some of my family.

Welcome! I went to UW for med school! What a great school! And the location is marvelous. I am in Seattle six to eight times a year. Montana is a beautiful state. I have spent a fair amount of time in Great Falls, Missoula, and the Bitter Roots. What will you study at UW?

Welcome aboard! Where are you at in your training right now (I noticed you advertised splitting time in a Dutchess)?

Yea I love Seattle, I’ve lived there my whole life except the last two years, and it is about time to go back. I’m most likely going to major in business, the only problem is the college of business is very competitive, I’ve been told you need at least a 3.5 to get in. So plan b is philosophy.

I’m just going to start my instrument training soon, and plan to get my multi done by the end of June

If you have some other things about you that make you a more rounded person than the "average" college student, you will look better to Admissions. I was on Admissions Cmte. for med school at Cornell, that is what we looked for when all the applications started to look the same. The GPA is important and can be the first weed-out factor, but some borderline candidates will get a slot because of their other qualities. Your letter is the place to highlight this. Good luck! I trained at Cornell during my internship and residency.
